Labor Day weekend in Colorado is often considered the last hurrah of summer. One last long weekend to soak up some rays and enjoy all of the fun happenings. The weather is predicted to be sunny and warm, and a lot of people are going to make their way to these events. With the influx of people, there will be a lot of traffic!
Check out these tips for navigating the city this weekend!

Light-rail and bus service will be many people’s best (and cheapest, outside of cabs and ride-sharing services) options this weekend for getting around town. RTD’s website (rtd-denver.com) offers straightforward tools for planning routes, scheduling and tracking your next ride. For more tailored information, iOS and Google Play apps such as Transit will use your location to suggest every regional and local bus or light rail line close to your location, including how long until it arrives and exact GPS positioning of the pickup location (most RTD buses, trains, etc. are fitted with GPS trackers).
